Prima Facie deadline for the completion of work for Fall courses
Final possible deadline to submit Fall coursework without needing a coursework extension. Instructors may set earlier deadlines; refer to course syllabus. See relevant program Handbooks.
Deadline to submit signed approval requests for Winter activities
Deadline to submit Winter 2027 requests to the GCTS Office for: Reading and Research (R&R) courses, Leaves of Absence (LoA), BD students requesting to take graduate-level courses, program & candidacy extensions, etc.
Deadline for MA students to submit Master's Research Paper or Research Portfolio to avoid Winter tuition fees
Deadline for MA students to submit Master's Research Paper (MRP) or Research Portfolio to the GCTS Office, in order to have fees pro-rated to the end of December.

Deadline to submit doctoral thesis for examination in order to graduate in May
Deadline for PhD and DMin students to submit approved thesis to the GCTS Office in order to graduate in May 2027 (EMC, KNX, TRN & WYC only). Students must meet full graduation eligibility criteria.
Deadline for ThM (I) students to submit thesis for examination in order to avoid Winter tuition fees
Deadline for ThM (I) students with continuous registration to submit approved theses to the GCTS Office for examination, in order to be exempt from Winter 2027 tuition fees. Ancillary and incidental fees still apply.
Deadline to drop Fall courses without academic penalty
Last day for students to drop Fall (F) courses via ACORN without academic penalty. Courses dropped after this date will show on transcripts with a grade based on the work submitted.
Deadline to submit Transfer Credit requests for PhD, MA and ThM Students
Deadline for PhD, MA and ThM students who first entered the program in Fall 2026 to submit requests for Transfer Credit and/or Advanced Standing to the GCTS Office. See relevant program Handbook.
