Last day for GCTS Office to receive approved theses for examination from students with continuous registration in the DMin and ThM programs ONLY, for students to be exempt from paying Summer 2026 Tuition fees. Ancillary and Incidental fees still apply.

Deadline for Submission of Signed Approval Requests for Summer 2026 Activities

Last day for GCTS Office to receive complete and signed requests for activities such as Reading and Research (R&R) courses, Leave of Absence (LoA), Coursework Extension, BD students requesting to take Graduate level courses, Program Extension, Candidacy Extension etc.

Prima Facie Deadline for the completion of work for Winter and Year-long Courses

Coursework and assignments for year-long and Winter courses must be submitted by this date. Graduate students see A7.9.1 Prima Facie Deadline of the GCTS Graduate Handbook; BD students see 9.7.1 Prima Facie Deadline of the BD Handbook.

Deadline for Submission of Master's Research Paper or Research Portfolio for students who continued into their second year in the MA program to avoid tuition fees for the Summer.

Last day for GCTS Office to receive Master's Research Paper (MRP) or Research Portfolio for students (in in second year of study or higher) to have fees pro-rated to the end of April.

Absolute Deadline for TSpace submissions to be approved for Spring 2026 Convocations

This is the absolute deadline for all TSpace uploads to be approved by the GCTS for those students eligible and wishing to convocate Spring 2026.
NOTE: Students are given individual deadlines based on the date of their Final Oral Defence and its outcome.

Last day to defend doctoral theses for Spring Convocation

Last day for students in the Conjoint PhD and DMin programs to defend their doctoral thesis in order to be eligible to meet requirements for Spring Convocations (EMC, KNX, TRN & WYC).

Deadline for Submission of Change of Name Request for Spring Convocation Ceremonies

Students approved for graduation will graduate under the name specified on Repository of Student Information (ROSI). A request may be made to change or correct a name through the home college registrar on a form prescribed for that purpose, which must be accompanied by supporting documentation. Colleges may set an earlier deadline.
