Give to TST - Help Us Look Toward the Future

The Toronto School of Theology (TST) has been given an extraordinary opportunity to plan for the future – and you can help us make the most of this exceptional moment in our history.

In 2026, five of TST’s seven member colleges launched TST: Today for Tomorrow, a campaign focused on long-term sustainability. The project is aided by generous start-up funding from the Lilly Endowment Inc., which has promised to match pledges made between January 2026 and November 2027 at a rate of 2.5 to 1, once donations are submitted.

Your gift will help us ensure sustained academic excellence for TST, an ecumenical consortium consistently ranked the #1 place in Canada to study theology. And the Lilly matching grants will make your dollars go that much farther. Both current and future students can be confident that, at TST, they will receive an education that readies them for the challenges of the world around us.

Among the many benefits, the TST: Today for Tomorrow campaign will allow us to:

  • Create a Ministry and Pastoral Formation Hub, which will assume a significant portion of colleges’ administrative duties now borne by faculty, registrars and other staff, freeing up time for academic research and the work at the heart of TST: engaging with students.
  • Seed an endowment to help sustain TST’s efforts to work together more efficiently, thus reducing individual colleges’ costs while increasing productivity by reducing duplication of labour and expenses. The fund will also support efforts to ensure we continue to attract top students and faculty from around the world.

  1. TST’s many student awards.
  2. Areas of greatest need.
  3. Ecumenical activities which bring students together in a broader community, such as our annual Agape Service, offering students, faculty and staff the opportunity to gather together to celebrate and learn from each other.
