For applicants intending to begin in April 2018, submitting this form is the first step in the application process. Once you have submitted this form and PDFs of the required documents electronically, all additional required application materials that cannot be attached as a PDF file to the application form should be sent to:

Section 6: Academic History

Please list ALL post-secondary institutions you have attended. Start with your current or most recent, include TST member colleges, if applicable. You MUST provide photocopies or scanned copies of your complete academic record from all universities and colleges attended to the DMin Office as part of your application. Upon offer of admission, official transcripts MUST be submitted directly from the issuing institution to the DMin Office by the stated date on the official offer of admission letter. If transcripts are in another language, an official English translation is required. If the name on your transcript differs from the legal name that you currently use please ensure that you include your former name in Section 1 above.

Section 7: References and Letters of Support

It is your responsibility to arrange for reference letters to be sent directly to TST by the application deadline.

Academic Reference (two are required)

Academic references should come from faculty members with whom you have studied.

Official Denominational or Institutional Letter of Support (one is required)

This letter must come from the person with authority in your denomination or institution to permit this time of study (e.g., Bishop, Conference Executive Secretary, Presbytery Clerk, etc.).

Ministry Base Group Letter of Support (one is required)

An integral part of our program requires the support of a Ministry Base Group (MBG) to assist you with critical reflection and support in your ministry setting. The MBG is established on the site of your practice of ministry. This letter should be sent by someone who will serve as a member of the MBG.

Section 8 – Application Materials

Application Materials: The following additional materials are required for your application to be considered complete. For a description of each item go to www.tst.edu/prospective/how-apply-doctor-ministry-program. Your application will not be processed until the Toronto School of Theology has received all of the required application materials, including the application fee.
