Lay Spiritual Formation Series - Advent Retreat: Praying with(out) Images

St. Augustine's Seminary Lay Spiritual Formation Program presents, Advent Retreat, Praying with(out) Images: Devotion to Icons and the Practice of the Jesus Prayer in Eastern Christian Spirituality.

The format will be live online lectures, small discussion groups, and Q&A, and will be presented by Dr. Brian Butcher, Sessional Lecturer.

Applications are now being accepted for 2022 admission to the Toronto School of Theology's conjoint graduate degree programs: PhD, MA, ThM, and DMin. Degrees for these programs are granted conjointly by the University of Toronto and the TST member school in which the student is registered.

Fall 2022 entry:

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theological Studies - apply by 12:00 pm (EST) Friday, January 21, 2022
  • Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MA) and Master of Theology (ThM) - apply by 12:00 pm (EST) Friday, February 18, 2022

Summer 2022 entry:

All members of the Toronto School of Theology community who come onto any University of Toronto campus and/or TST member college premises, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are required to upload proof of vaccination via the University of Toronto's UCheck system. Public health guidance requires a self-assessment for all members of the TST community, including faculty members, librarians, staff, and students, each day they visit the campus and/or any property owned or operated by the University of Toronto or a TST member college.
