Graduate Degree Dates & Deadlines

General Exams for PhD students and Comprehensive Exams for DMin students are not scheduled during this period.

Last day for GCTS Office to receive Transfer Credit and/or Advanced Standing Requests from DMin students who first entered the program in Summer 2025. See A7.14 of the GCTS Graduate Degree Handbook.

Last day for GCTS Office to receive Master's Research Paper (MRP) or Research Portfolio for students in the MA program and to avoid Fall registration and for RG and SM students to be eligible to graduate in the Fall and all students who need to meet program requirements as an admission require to a program starting in the Fall. (See B11.1 of the GCTS Graduate Degree Handbook)

This is the absolute deadline for all TSpace uploads to be approved by the GCTS for those students eligible and wishing to convocate Spring 2025.
NOTE: Students are given individual deadlines based on the date of their Final Oral Defence and its outcome.

Last day for GCTS Office to receive approved ThM Theses for examination for students wishing to be eligible for Spring Convocation (EMC, KNX, TRN & WYC)

GCTS Office is closed to in person visitors. Email and voicemail is monitored for matters relating to Final Oral Defences. Regular email will be responded to after July 15, 2025.

Last day for students at Emmanuel College, Knox College, Trinity Collage and Wycliffe College in Conjoint PhD and DMin to defend their doctoral thesis in order to be eligible to meet requirements for Spring Convocations.
