Bio
Fr. Giuseppe Scollo was ordained to the priesthood for the archdiocese of Toronto in 2007, and completed his graduate degrees in theology at the Gregorian University in 2018 (doctoral thesis on Luke 16:16). He is a fulltime Assistant Professor of Biblical Theology at St. Augustine’s Seminary, and has taught New Testament Hermeneutics; Introduction to the New Testament; Introduction to the Old Testament; Prophetic Literature; and New Testament Greek. He has also been Associate Pastor of St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish (Brampton), from 2007-2008; Vice-Rector of the Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary (Toronto), from 2018-2021; and Pastor of St. Clare's Parish (Toronto), from 2021-2023. Fr. Scollo is a full member of various biblical associations (e.g., ABI, CSBS and CBA) and is actively involved in ongoing research, catechetical instruction, youth ministry, parish assistance, Lenten missions and Advent retreats.
