The MRE Practicum offers participants the opportunity to reflect upon and integrate the theological, philosophical, historical, and pedagogical areas of study, to practice the knowledge and skills, to profit from a supervised peer-supported group and to relate teaching contextually in a post-modern globalized reality.

This course prepares and supports the student's design and implementation of a practical, contextualized project in religious education/catechesis relative to the Church's mission of evangelization with attention to the dynamic of globalization. Informed by critical and constructive theological reflection and enriched by peer feedback, the student is equipped for 21 st century professional leadership in educational/catechetical ministry within the Catholic ecclesial tradition.
