University of Toronto Press and Emmanuel College Partner to Launch New Scholarly Journal Dedicated to Buddhist Spiritual Care

University of Toronto Press and Toronto School of Theology's member school, Emmanuel College, are very pleased to announce a new strategic partnership to develop a scholarly journal dedicated to the growing field of Buddhist spiritual care. The International Journal of Buddhist Spiritual Care will serve as a forum for research, professional reflection, and interdisciplinary and interfaith dialogue on the application of Buddhist teachings and practices in contemporary contexts of care.

The Journal will bring together scholars, practitioners, educators, and community leaders to explore how Buddhist traditions inform spiritual care, ethical practice, professional formation, and compassionate engagement across diverse institutional and community settings.
