Prof. David Demson

TST was saddened to learn of the passing of Professor David Demson on May 13, 2025. David began teaching at Emmanuel College in 1962, making him one of the founding faculty members when TST formed in 1970. After David's retirement from Emmanuel in 2001 he taught at Wycliffe College for almost two decades. His courses on Barth and Reformation theology were greatly appreciated by students across the TST and across generations.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglington Ave East, Toronto, and a funeral service on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 am in the Wycliffe College Chapel, 5 Hoskin Avenue, Toronto.
