The online course Introduction to the Old Testament covers biblical books, their historical contexts, genres and ancient Near Eastern cultural contexts necessary for biblical interpretation. It also covers basic hermeneutical principles, familiarizes with the field of Old Testament scholarship, and focuses on the relevance of Scripture for life and ministry.
