Join Trinity College for the 2025 Larkin-Stuart Lecture with acclaimed art historian and author Matthew J. Milliner, Professor of Art History at Wheaton College.
Deliberately upgrading the city’s famous nickname, “Toronto the Good,” this lecture departs from a surprising architectural feature of Trinity College Chapel, moving on to address other Toronto objects and sacred sites. The word “disclosures” suggests that sacred space is not merely constructed, which can imply wholesale dependence on human fabrication, but discovered, inferring that sacredness is blissfully independent of, but still open to, human perception.
- Lecture - 6:00 – 7:00 pm
- Reception - 7:00 – 8:00 pm
This event is free, but registration is required.
