Mary of Nazareth is a central figure in the Christian scriptures, as the mother of Jesus and a model of Christian discipleship. Many Christians may not be aware that Mary - or Maryam - is also central to Muslim faith, with a full chapter or surah of the Qur’an devoted entirely to her memory. Join Prof. Klaus von Stosch to reflect on the importance of this Mary, the Mary of the Qur’an, for interreligious dialogue and collaboration.

Prof. Klaus Von Stosch is Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Bonn and an ordained deacon in the Catholic Church. The author of numerous books and articles, he is a leading authority in the fields of Comparative Theology and Catholic-Muslim relations.
