Students preparing for language exams and looking to put their languages to work in research, this is the workshop for you. Dr. Michael Attridge, TST Associate Graduate Director of Graduate Programs, opens with an overview of why languages matter and the requirements you may meet. Our speakers then share best practices across ancient, classical, and modern languages: textbooks and resources, vocabulary, parsing, dictionary use, and what they did to prepare for the exam itself.
All TST graduate students welcome. Refreshments and a light lunch will be available.
Doors open at 12:45 pm, remote access begins at 1:00 pm (Zoom link will be emailed prior to the session).
