This lecture is one of a series of patristic talks organized by the Ecclesiastical Faculty of Theology at St. Augustine’s Seminary.

Join us as we go back to the early Church to consider some the views of St. Augustine and Origen on God's plan for our salvation. 

The talk will be followed by fellowship and light refreshments.

Speakers:

  • Fr. Rev. Hubertus Drobnner - After studying Classics, Theology, Patristics and Christian Archaeology in Mainz, Oxford and Rome, Fr. Drobner has been a professor of Ecclesiastical History and Patristics in the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Paderborn since 1986.
  • Dr. Ky Heinze, Adjunct Professor, Ecclesiastical Faculty of Theology - Dr. Heinze's area of expertise is Greek Christian and Neoplatonic thought in the second through the fourth centuries. Dr. Heinze holds a PhD in Early Christian Studies from the Catholic University of America.
