This seminar series is brought to you by Emmanuel College and The Centre for Religion and Its Contexts.

Wonder how to thrive as a church these days? Some United Churches are doing just that in these impossible times. Join us to learn from rural and urban United Churches across Canada who have discovered the keys to their success. Hint: it has to do more with being than doing and it connects with the early churches’ spiritual attributes.

Loraine MacKenzie Shepherd and Tammy Allan travelled to thriving churches in 2019 and contacted them again in the spring of 2020 to see how they have continued thriving during COVID restrictions. Loraine and Tammy wrote about their learnings in Thriving Churches: Urban and Rural Success and will be facilitating this webinar on their insights.

This online event is free, but advance registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Register here.

The Emmanuel College Alumni/ae Association (ECAA) is pleased to partner with the Centre by hosting Emmanuel College alumni/ae mini-reunion breakout rooms following this event. If you are an alumni/ae, and would like to join this gathering, register for the event and indicate on the registration form that you will be joining us for the post-event alumni/ae breakout room.
