2012-2013 Tuition Fees

A list of TST program fees for 2012-2013, effective Summer 2012. Fees are subject to change.

Students are charged fees on the basis of their program of study (e.g. If a ThM student takes a basic degree course, he or she is charged the ThM course fee.). "Per course" in the table below refers to a 0.5-credit course. A full, 1.0-credit course is double the course fee.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents pay the lower fee; students from other countries on a visa pay the higher fee. There are additional incidental fees charged for student services at the University of Toronto and in each member college. Colleges have the authority to establish their own additional incidental and ancillary fees.

An "incoming" student is: (1) one who is beginning studies at TST for the first time; or (2) one who is returning to TST after at least eight years' absence; or (3) one who is beginning studies at TST at a different level of program (e.g., Th.D. from Th.M., or Th.M. from M.Div., but not M.Div. from M.T.S.). All other students are "returning" students.

Fees are in Canadian dollars.

2011 & 2012 Domestic Doctoral Students Fee Table

Please note the tuition fee structure for incoming domestic students (Canadians and landed immigrants). There are separate fee tables for those students who will begin the doctoral program in 2012 (incoming), as well as those students who started in the 2011-2012 academic year. We encourage students under this fee structure (and for that matter, all doctoral students!) to contact your college of registration to discuss financial assistance.
