A candidate for graduation must contact the office of the registrar of the college which will grant the degree to signify his or her intention to graduate, and must then follow the regulations in effect at that college regarding convocation.
Guidelines on the final format of the thesis, submission of a copy for the library, and thesis binding should be sought from the college from which you are graduating.
MA and PhD candidates must submit three bound copies of their thesis to the St. Michael's Faculty of Theology Office; ThM, ThD and St. Michael's MA and PhD graduates must submit two copies of their bound thesis, one to their home college and one to the TST AD Office.
Please note that all students (including Non-USMC students) must apply to graduate by completing and returning the Graduation Application Form.
St. Michael's 2011 Convocation is on November 5, 2011.
Deadline for submitting bound thesis copies is October 1, 2011.
Deadline for Graduation Application is September 9, 2011.
Students may apply to graduate any time in the year but will only receive a response in late September. Likewise, students may also submit their thesis throughout the year. Theses and Graduation Applications submitted after each year's deadline will only be considered for graduation at the following year's Convocation.
The St. Michael's Thesis Guidelines, Graduation Application Form, Non-Exclusive License Form and Thesis ProQuest Subject Code Form are all available on the St. Michael's website.
