Students registered in the Toronto School of Theology have access to all TST libraries as well as all the libraries at the University of Toronto. The University of Toronto Library system in the largest academic library in Canada, and the third largest in North America. In addition to the millions of books, the library system provides access to thousands of full-text electronic journals, and hundreds of online databases and resources. TST Librarians offer research assistance and instruction in the use of online resources.
The majority of theological materials are located in the TST Libraries and the Robarts Library (the central humanities and social sciences library). All of these materials can be found on the University of Toronto Library's online catalogue:

The Silcox Memorial Library serves the faculty and students of the Faculty of Theology at Huron University College. It has a particular emphasis on Anglican studies.

The Centre for Asian-Canadian Theology and Ministry has been established by Knox College to facilitate the theological education of leaders for the rapidly growing Asian-Canadian church in Canada and to encourage their prophetic contribution to The Presbyterian Church in Canada. To facilitate this work, the Caven Library at Knox College includes a variety of Asian theological resources.

The Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies (CRRS) is a research and teaching centre with a library devoted to the study of the period from approximately 1350 to 1700. The CRRS supervises an undergraduate program in Renaissance Studies, organizes lectures and seminars, and maintains an active series of publications.

This Collection includes all known published and unpublished works of the Scottish personalist philosopher John Macmurray (1891-1976). His many articles, essays, lectures, book reviews and lecture notes are gathered in this collection along with transcripts of his many radio broadcasts and much correspondence. Materials in the Collection may not be removed.

The Henri J.M. Nouwen Archives and Research Collection is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. It is advisable to make an appointment before visiting the Archives to ensure the Archivist is available to assist you.
The Henri J.M. Nouwen Archives and Research Collection documents the life and work of Henri J.M. Nouwen (1932 - 1996). Located in the John M. Kelly Library, the collection includes the vast majority of Nouwen's manuscripts and published works, as well as secondary material about Nouwen.

During the academic year, the Institute library is open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, and from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Access to the library is normally granted to those professors and graduate students of the University of Toronto who need to consult unique copies or materials not otherwise accessible. Every reasonable opportunity to use the library is also given to visiting scholars, particularly Guests of the Institute. The library includes a special collection focussing on the late professor Etienne Gilson, one of the founding members of the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies in 1929. The Collection contains all of his published works in many languages, many of the critical studies which they generated, and unpublished lectures on tape.

Victoria University Library owns one of the finest, most complete early edition collections in North America of the works by John and Charles Wesley. The majority of the collection came from the library of the Rev. Richard Green (1829-1907); the collection has been supplemented by critical and biographical works on the Wesley family. Digital images of a sample of Wesleyana items can be viewed by topic or by date of publication.
